How the training takes place
4 days · 24 hours in attendance
The training is intensive and predominantly practical. Techniques are introduced gradually, demonstrated, and then practiced under supervision, with time dedicated to repetition, corrections, and individual feedback.
Hybrid Mode
During the course, we work both in a floor-based configuration, using futons or very low tables, and on a raised massage table. This allows you to experience both modalities and understand how to adapt the method to your own professional practice.
Small group
The course is limited to a maximum of 4 participants, ensuring plenty of practice, direct supervision, and individual attention.

Who is the training aimed at?
The Sarga Bodywork® 101 training is aimed at massage, bodywork, and manual discipline professionals who wish to expand their way of working through the conscious use of the feet.
It is particularly suitable for those who wish to integrate myofascial and deep tissue work by developing new possibilities of pressure, direction, traction and movement.
It is also designed for those who want to preserve their body in professional work, distributing the effort more and reducing the constant use of hands, thumbs, shoulders and lumbar area.
Barefoot bodywork offers a different way of using body weight, gravity, posture, and movement, promoting a more sustainable practice for the practitioner over time.
Previous barefoot bodywork experience is not required; however, a professional background in manual practice is required, as outlined in the Prerequisites section.

Physical requirements and safety
Physical preparation
Sarga Bodywork® requires balance, coordination, stability, and good weight management skills. Before training, it's recommended that you be able to balance on one foot for at least 1 minute, perform continuous cardiovascular activity for about 10–15 minutes, perform 3 sets of 20 squats, and hold a plank position for at least 1 minute.
Safety during practice
The safety of both the practitioner and the recipient comes before the execution of any technique. If a particular configuration or technique is not appropriate for a person, it can be adapted, modified, or replaced during training.
Individual assessment
Weight, height, balance, and physical condition can especially affect work on a raised table. Being outside the recommended parameters doesn't automatically mean you can't participate: if you have any questions, it's important to contact me before registering to discuss the most suitable configuration.
